Antonio Conte has underlined the role our fans can play as we prepare for back-to-back home matches in the Premier League.

We take on Brentford at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday evening (7.30pm), quickly followed by Norwich City on Sunday (2pm).

“We need the support of our fans from the start until the end,” said Antonio, speaking to Spurs TV after training on Wednesday. “This is an important moment for us, important to get points and for that continuity after the win against Leeds. It’s a moment we have to stay very close to the top four. Tomorrow is important, and also Sunday.”

Sitting in seventh, four points off West Ham in fourth, now with a game in hand, it was put to Antonio that this home double-header presented an opportunity to do exactly that - stay close to the top four.

“Every game has to be an opportunity for us,” he added. “We have to go game by game, and tomorrow we play Brentford. Our focus must only be on this game because to win is vital for us. Then we start to think about Norwich. We go game by game, to be focussed, to understand that every game is very important, in every game there are difficulties to overcome.

“For this reason, I ask for help from our fans. They create a fantastic atmosphere around our stadium, and it will be very important to push us from the start until the end. We want to give them satisfaction.”
