Antonio Conte reveals 'total veto' on Napoli stars | OneFootball

Antonio Conte has revealed that he has imposed an ‘absolute veto’ on several of his Napoli stars.

The Italian boss risks seeing a host of European rivals test his resolve over several of the Partenopei’s biggest names.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, while captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo could join Juventus.

But in his inaugural press conference on Wednesday, Conte shot down suggestions that the influential pair, and others, could be set to depart.

“Kvaratskhelia and Di Lorenzo are key players for me. I’ve been clear on this,” said Conte.

“I have placed a total veto for Di Lorenzo, [Stanislav] Lobotka, [André-Frank] Zambo Anguissa and Kvaratskhelia”.

Napoli will discover their Serie A schedule for 2024/25 on 4 July.
