Serie A league leaders Napoli kept going with their impressive streak as they managed to comfortably beat Milan 2-0 earlier today.

Romelu Lukaku got an early goal and later in the game, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored brilliantly to make it 2-0. Napoli sat deeper, controlled the game and kept Milan at bay in the entirety of the game, picking up all three points.

Conte spoke to DAZN about the game and he revealed that the players are willing to die for the club. He said, as relayed by CalcioNapoli24:

“There is great empathy with Romelu, he wanted to come to Naples at all costs, he waited until the end and gave up English teams, He wanted to come back to work with me, he is a good guy like everyone here in Naples, we are lucky to have a group of guys who are truly exceptional. I have guys who are ready to die for the team they play for.”

The Italian revealed that this Napoli side is one of the best squads he has had during his entire career, saying:

“This is one of the best groups I have had in my career, everyone looks at the same goal, even between me and the club and the whole environment we have created in Castel Yolturno from the warehouseman to the gardener. I breathe beautiful and clean air, passion and enthusiasm. When I happen to find this type of situation I live it with passion.”

The Partenopei haven’t lost since their opening game of the season and they have conceded only twice in the last nine games, scoring 18 times and have kept seven cleansheets.

Those are brilliant numbers and it clearly suggests that Conte’s side is finally coming together.
