Antonio Cassano On Inter Striker Romelu Lukaku: “There Are Better Attackers Than Him” | OneFootball

Ex-Inter and Italy striker has taken a verbal swing at current Inter striker Romelu Lukaku by suggesting that there are lots of strikers in football right now who are better than him, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during a stream on Christian Vieri’s Twitch channel, Bobo TV, Antonio Cassano did not hold back in his criticism of Belgium’s star striker Romelu Lukaku, suggesting that he might have an inflated view of his own abilities.

“In my opinion he doesn’t know that there are better attackers than him: Robert Lewandowski, Luis Suarez, Sergio Aguero, Harry Kane.”

Romelu Lukaku had a wonderful season with Inter in 2020/21 as he was arguably the most important player en route to winning Inter’s first Scudetto since 2009/10.

He has also had an excellent start to Euro 2020 with Belgium. He scored twice against Russia in their 3-0 win in St Petersburg and scored their final goal of the group stage against Finland. That puts him in a positive position to challenge for the golden boot at the tournament.
