Chivas centre-back Antonio Briseño confirmed that he had options to continue playing in Europe before deciding to sign for El Rebaño.
“El Pollo” Briseño has already become one of Tomás Boy’s most reliable options and claimed his place in the starting XI from day one.

On Thursday, in an interview with ESPN, Briseño explained why it was easy for him to choose Chivas over Europe.
“When Chivas asks about you and it’s a big team, you start thinking about what Chivas is. With so many fans and supporters, you can never say no.
“Chivas was an easy choice. My chances of playing for a big European club was small. That’s why I made the decision to go to one of the most important clubs in the world.”
Chivas are back in action on Saturday when they face 2019 Clausura finalists León
