Anthony Taylor will continue to referee Chelsea games

Chelsea's attempts to prevent Anthony Taylor from taking charge of future matches has failed.

The referee was a controversial figure during the Blues' intense 2-2 draw against Tottenham at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was furious with several decisions by Taylor, and suggested that his club has experienced similar issues with him in the past.

According to the Daily Mail, the German coach is being investigated by the Football Association for those comments.

In addition, the source states that the Professional Game Management Officials (PGMOL) will NOT stand Taylor down from any Chelsea matches in the future.
