Anthony Martial replaced in France squad after injury

French forward Anthony Martial has pulled out of the France squad for the upcoming international break.

Martial suffered pain in his right knee playing for Manchester United on Saturday, France have confirmed.

Didier Deschamps spoke to the Manchester United club doctor before confirming the forward would no longer be called up.

He has been replaced by 23-year-old winger Thomas Lemar.

France play Moldova on Friday and Iceland the following Monday.
