Manchester United already have one foot in the Europa League finally, so I wonder if we will see youngsters like Anthony Elanga and Amad get an opportunity on show what they’re about.

I don’t think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will make any drastic changes to his starting eleven. David de Gea is likely to start between the sticks, and we could see Eric Bailly and Alex Telles in defence.

Stretty News’ predicted Manchester United XI

United have named a 24-man squad for their trip to Rome.

Daniel James misses out due to injury, but youngster Elanga is included in the squad, as is young goalkeeper Nathan Bishop. Anthony Martial and Phil Jones are the other two absentees.

The Red Devils lead the tie 6-2 after a big win in the first leg at Old Trafford, but he will be aware of how these European ties can easily slip away – with Roma pulling off a memorable Champions League comeback against Barcelona in 2018.

Jose Mourinho, who was in charge of United when we last won the Europa League circa 2017, has been announced as the successor to Paulo Fonseca as Roma boss. He won’t be on the touchline tonight, with Fonseca staying until the end of the season.

United’s squad (via Manchester Evening News):

David de Gea, Dean Henderson, Lee Grant, Nathan Bishop; Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Alex Telles, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Brandon Williams, Axel Tuanzebe; Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Fred, Bruno Fernandes, Amad, Nemanja Matic, Donny van de Beek, Scott McTominay; Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, Anthony Elanga.
