Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Antero Henrique could be on his way out of the club after a disastrous January transfer window.

The Portuguese national has only been with the Ligue 1 giants for 18 months but reports in France on Friday have suggested that tensions are high behind the scenes at the club.

Coach Thomas Tuchel publicly called out the board, and Henrqiue, during the window, asking them to “hurry up” and back him with more players.

But by the time the window closed on Thursday evening, PSG had signed just Leandro Paredes from Zenit – that despite them looking to buy at least another midfielder and possibly a defender.

According to France 24 it’s left the sporting director extremely vulnerable with Arsène Wenger believed to be waiting in the wings.
