Ansu Fati suffers another injury blow | OneFootball

Barcelona looked to have suffered another serious injury blow in their Copa del Rey last-16 tie with Athletic Club.

The clash headed to extra-time following a stoppage-time equaliser from Pedri but Xavi’s side are reeling after seeing winger Ansu Fati leave the pitch in tears in the 97th minute.

The 19-year-old had played for just 35 minutes before pulling up after chasing a ball down.

There looked to be no collision or challenge that led to the injury but Fati left the pitch almost immediately after stopping running with what looks like a suspected hamstring injury.
