Barcelona have announced that Ansu Fati has penned a new contract with the club until the summer of 2027.
The 18-year-old’s previous deal had been set to expire at the end of the current season.
But Barça have now tied him down to a five-year extension which includes a €1 billion release clause.
That follows the new deal for fellow youngster Pedri which was also agreed on similar terms.
Barcelona will formally present the player to announce the deal on Thursday afternoon.
Ansu, who inherited the No. 10 jersey from Lionel Messi, is the club’s youngest ever player to score in both LaLiga and the Champions League.
