It took just six minutes for Barça to break the deadlock when Memphis Depay won and converted a penalty after some tricky footwork in the box.

And their lead was doubled shortly after through Luuk de Jong, who slotted home having been played through by the impressive Sergiño Dest.

After the break, Barça impressed with lengthy spells of possession with academy graduates Gavi and Nico González impressing in midfield.

Ansu Fati – making his long-awaited return from injury – secured all three points with a fantastic solo run and finish, much to the delight of fans inside the Camp Nou.
