And just a minute later he scored to make it 2-1 – a goal which sealed the three points for Barça and ensured Inter will only be playing Europa League football in the New Year.

At 17 years and 40 days old, Fati is remarkably now the youngest goalscorer in the history of the Champions League.

He takes the record previously held by Peter Ofori-Quaye, who scored for Olympiacos at the age of 17 years and 195 days old way back in October 1997.

Old fart.
