For the first time since the Coronavirus pandemic gripped Italy and the rest of the world, spectators will be allowed back into the stadium.

Milan will open their 2020-21 Serie A campaign with a game against Bologna at San Siro on Monday night, and ANSA (via MilanNews) confirm that clearance has been given for 1,000 fans to watch.

They add that the club have invited doctors and health workers from various Lombard medical facilities to the game as a sign of gratitude for those who fought against COVID and continue to be personally involved in combating the spread of the pandemic.

The tickets for tomorrow’s match will be distributed to all members of the “Milan family”, including the family members of the players, the club’s health staff, selected Milan club affiliates plus guests of the club’s partners .

The public present at San Siro will be able to access from three separate entrances, where all the required procedures will be carried out, including the measurement of body temperature by the healthcare staff and the control of crowd flows.
