Former Juventus CEO Giraudlo is among the individuals associated with the Bianconeri still attempting to legally appeal the aftermath of the 2006 Calciopoli scandal.

Juventus have, at the club level, completely given up legal proceedings.

The Bianconeri’s final appeal ended in failure. And the Turin giants have decided that it is time to turn the page on the matter once and for all.

They withdrew their appeal for damages last year.

However, a couple of individuals implicated in the scandal are continuing in their attempts to fight in the courts.

Infamous former Juventus director Luciano Moggi has continued in his efforts.

Earlier this year, Moggi was ordered to pay the court costs of the Nerazzurri.

Moggi is perhaps the name and face that have come to symbolize the Calciopoli scandal. But he is not the only former Bianconeri director whose legal efforts continue.

Ex Juventus CEO Girauldo Has Calciopoli Appeal Denied By Lazio Regional Court

Former Juventus CEO Girauldo received several punishments in the wake of the Calciopoli scandal.

As with Moggi, one of these was a prohibition on working in football.

But, as with Moggi, Girauldo has maintained his innocence. And the former Juventus director has attempted to reverse the punishment.

But so far all of these attempts have ended in failure for Girauldo.

Among the final avenues that Girauldo has pursued has been having a Lazio regional court hear his appeal.

But the court has ruled that the appeal is inadmissible.

The reason for that decision, Calcio e Finanza report, is a jurisdictional issue. The regional court cannot reverse the punishments for Girauldo.
