Ajax are famous for churning out some of the best young talent in Europe, and Jorrel Hato might be next.
The Dutch giants face AEK Athen on Thursday and Hato notched an impressive feat even before kick-off.
At just 17 years and 282 days, he became the youngest-ever starting captain in Ajax’s European history.
The previous holder of that record was one Matthijs de Ligt.
The Dutchman added to the celebrations by assisting Kenneth Taylor’s goal to turn things 2-1 in favour of the hosts.
Where might we see Hato in a few years?
