Angers SCO have announced the sacking of head coach Gérald Baticle.

Angers SCO, currently 20th and last in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats standings, announced on Thursday morning 'the precautionary layoff, as of today, of Gérald Baticle, head coach of the senior squad'. The former striker took up his post at the helm of the club's team on 23 May 2021, succeeding legendary Angers boss Stéphane Moulin. SCO also added that 'until further notice, the team will be coached by Abdel Bouhazama, the director of the youth academy since 2013.
