Angeliño shares insight into rapport with De Rossi after Feyenoord win | OneFootball

Roma fullback Angeliño came on late in extra-time of the Giallorossi’s eventual victory against Feyenoord on penalties.

The Spanish defender was asked about his rapport with coach Daniele De Rossi – the man responsible for his loan signing in January – in the post-match media appearance.

“Before the penalties, De Rossi told us to remain united and focused and seize the moment,” Angeliño told reporters.

“Obviously it was a hard-fought victory, but in the end it is very important for the team. We suffered a lot and I’m very happy for the team.”

“De Rossi? It’s like having an additional captain on the sidelines. He’s like an extra player for us. He gives us a lot of strength ahead of each game.”
