Angeliño considering a move away from RB Leipzig with Hoffenheim and Barcelona interested

With the arrival of David Raum to RB Leipzig, Spanish defender Angeliño is considering a move away from the DFB Pokal champions, according to Kicker.

It’s reported that the Spain international could go to Hoffenheim who are now in search of their own left back. A potential deal for the defender remains to be seen with a possible year loan also being an option should a transfer materialise. As things stand, Angeliño is currently contracted to Leipzig until 2025.

Elsewhere Catalan newspaper, Sport, are reporting that Angeliño could be offered to Barcelona. This could be a loan deal with an option to buy or a straight transfer.

“Because he wants to clarify his future, he is not available,” said the 36-year-old head coach. This indicates that the Spanish fullback is considering his next move ahead of the new season.
