Trophy Day at Paradise is on the horizon and with it, the opportunity to recognise the success of this Celtic team over the course of the 38-game season.

Celtic have again been the dominant force, playing some outstanding football and creating memorable moments to clinch back-to-back league titles.

The crowning moment in the coronation comes at home to Aberdeen tomorrow (Saturday), and having experienced the joys of Trophy Day once before, the manager is excited for another special day at Paradise.

Speaking ahead of the game, Ange Postecoglou said: “It makes it all real when you get the chance to lift it. You’re champions but that’s the moment you look forward to.

“It’s the last game being at home so we want to make it a great day in terms of enjoying every aspect of it, as well as the game itself.

“The boys are determined to try and put on a good performance and hopefully make it a great afternoon.

'It’s always a proud moment because all of this is hard-earned.'

“It’s on the back of people really buying in and believing in something and getting through those moments of doubt whenever they occur.

“You have to earn everything and there’s a great responsibility at the start of every season at this football club to deliver success.

“Come that moment when we lift the trophy, I will be extremely proud - proud of the group and proud of everyone else who has been involved not just at Lennoxtown but also those that work at Celtic Park.

“And for our supporters. We’ve delivered another trophy and hopefully another memorable year for them.”

In the background to trophy day is the Scottish Cup final, where Celtic have the chance to win all three domestic honours next Saturday.

Coming on the back of winning a domestic double last year, the drive within the team to improve on last season’s success has been a really pleasing aspect for the manager and he hopes the squad can cap off the final week in style.

He added: “I’ve been really proud of everyone’s efforts to win the double last year and then come back and say they want to be better.

“We’ve got a chance to do that in winning a treble and the supporters have been a big part of that journey.

'That’s been the most special bit that it’s been a collective effort at the club of everyone going in the same direction and hopefully we have a special seven days coming up.'

“As a football club, you have that responsibility here to deliver success and to play football a certain way, that doesn’t change.

“The challenge is always there irrespective of what you’ve achieved so far. Whenever you lose that focus you will probably find yourself out of a job because that’s the demands this football club places on those that represent it.

“We want to win a cup final and make it a special year, and once we start next year we start on zero again and we want to make sure we try and improve and be stronger for what’s ahead.”
