Anelka: Mbappe wants Real Madrid; he's more important to PSG than Messi

Former Real Madrid striker Nicolas Anelka is convinced Kylian Mbappe is determined to leave PSG.

And Anelka believes Real Madrid is Mbappe's favoured destination.

"I think that in Mbappé's head he is determined, he wants to see something else and it is normal," said Anelka in an interview with Le Parisien.

"Kylian has to be the leader of the attack because he is number one. (Lionel) Messi was this at Barça , but now he has to serve Mbappé.

"Mbappé is irreplaceable, he is a player who is fast and very good. He is the best in the world.

"If PSG wants to be the best team, they must do everything possible to retain him."

Anelka says Mbappe has already decided to go to Real Madrid: "He dreams of the Ballon d'Or. If he had done his last three seasons in England or Spain he would have already won it."
