Liverpool’s World XI left-back Andy Robertson has given Wolves winger Adama Traoré the highest praise imaginable: his toughest opponent ever.
Though Robertson has faced the best players in the world, he conceded that nobody has given him more trouble this season.
“Traoré this season ripped me apart, to be fair.
“I think he could give most Premier League defenders a 15-yard start and he would win the race.”
“I’ve played against (Lionel) Messi, (Cristiano) Ronaldo, (Luis) Suarez, (Sergio) Aguero, I’ve played against all of them.
“But the one I’ve struggled the most against for 90 minutes was when I played left-back against Wolves, against Traoré.”
Traoré has been linked to both Real Madrid and Barcelona thanks to his six goals and 10 assists in all competitions this season.
