Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos is in talks to join Strasbourg on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old was recalled from Nottingham Forest at the beginning of January and is now considering a move to France until the summer.
The one-cap Brazil international is currently away at a pre-Olympic qualifying tournament with his national team.
But could move to join Chelsea's sister club, which is part of the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital-owned multi-club network under the BlueCo umbrella.
Santos would be the second player to join the Ligue 1 club from Chelsea since BlueCo's takeover, with winger Angelo Gabriel having made the switch in the summer and become a regular under manager Patrick Vieira.
Vieira is ready to welcome Santos for the final months of the season, and also wants another winger through the door before deadline day.
Laurence Stewart, the co-sporting director of Chelsea, is across Strasbourg's recruitment strategy but it is led by club staff in France.
