Andrés Iniesta wouldn't be bothered by Neymar to Real Madrid | OneFootball

Barcelona legend Andrés Iniesta has said it “wouldn’t hurt” to see Neymar join Real Madrid.

The Brazilian has been frequently linked with a move to the Bernabéu since leaving Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017.

Now, his former team-mate Iniesta has said he wouldn’t be bothered by the switch.

“It would not hurt me because decisions like that that do happen,” Iniesta said in an interview with Cadena Ser.

“Madrid would be strengthened by a single player, but it wouldn’t hurt to see Neymar in white.

“To say that he should not return [to Spain] would be a bit categorical. It’s difficult. Neymar is still one of the best players in the world and he can make the difference for any team.”

Neymar already has 15 goals for Paris Saint-Germain this season but reports linking him with a return to Spain refuse to go away.
