In the extra time, Skov Olsen delivered the Blues a hard-fought victory after he already scored the opening goal before.

The Danish winger laughed off the praise in front of the camera but could not deny that he is currently playing well: "Scoring is what I like to do and my way to help the team. It was a very tough match today, especially because of the weather conditions and Genk's good game. It was a huge relief to score in the final minutes."

Skov Olsen scored the winning goal on rebound after a penalty kick, with his right foot: "I saw that the ball bounced back and came straight towards me. The ball came very fast so I didn't have time to think about it and I just tried to hit it well. Obviously I hit it perfectly when I saw it go into target."

Club won after a tricky game, in which Genk were the better team at times: "It is one of our strengths to still win the match even when we are not the best team. We don't always play the perfect game but we keep on fighting as a team until the end and then we have the qualities to win."

"A good start is always important, after we already won the Supercup last week. The two victories are good for our confidence and now it's a matter of continuing to work hard," concluded the matchwinner.
