Andrea Pirlo's son to go on trial with Juventus

Andrea Pirlo’s 15-year-old son is set to go on trial with Juventus.

Niccolò Pirlo is currently playing for Pecetto – an amateur club based near Turin.

But Corriere di Torino has revealed that the teenager will go on trial with his dad’s former club in the next few months, with the view to signing for the U17’s in the summer.

“He is similar to me, he has technical skills but not as much grit,” Pirlo Senior is quoted as saying in the piece.

It looks like Niccolò might be able to play like his dad – whether he can grow a beard like him remains to be seen.
