Giorgio Chiellini will return to the Juventus starting line-up on Wednesday against Genoa, Andrea Pirlo has revealed.
The Bianconeri veteran has struggled with various injuries this season, missing over two months of action as a result.
Although he featured briefly against Udinese at the start of the year, Chiellini has managed just six starts this season but is set for a comeback in the Coppa Italia.
“We are evaluating everyone and seeing who is feeling okay,” Pirlo told Juventus TV ahead of the game.
“Giorgio has been training with us for some time and he will come back in for this match.
“Gigi [Buffon] will also be in from the start and we’ll evaluate the others in the morning.
“At the beginning of 2021, the mental strength we put in place made the difference and we made it clear what our objectives are.
“From there, we’ve started strongly again and are thinking only of ourselves. We want to win the Coppa Italia too and that starts with tomorrow’s game.”
The Old Lady are three wins from three to start the new year.
