Andrea Norheim joins RB Leipzig

Hei, Andrea!

RB Leipzig have signed Andrea Norheim from Portuguese side Sporting. The 26-year-old Norwegian has put pen to paper on a deal valid until 30th June 2027. The centre-back will wear the number 3 shirt at RBL.

Andrea Norheim has plenty of international experience, having played for clubs such as Olympique Lyon in France, Piteå IF in Sweden and HB Køge in Denmark. Back in 2017 when she was just 18, she was part of the Lyon squad that won the UEFA Women’s Champions League, the French title and cup.

The centre-back won the Portuguese Super Cup (Supertaça Feminina) in 2024 with Sporting. She was a regular in their side throughout her two years in Lisbon, playing a total of 48 games for them, including three in UEFA Champions League qualification.
