Andrea Belotti reflects on own shortcomings at Roma after scoring first Fiorentina goal

Andrea Belotti reflected on his tough spell at Roma following his first goal scored for Fiorentina during today’s 5-1 victory over Frosinone.

The Italian striker was finally able to get back on the score-sheet after joining Fiorentina in the final stretch of the January window.

In his post-match interview with Sky Sport, Belotti said, “Here I knew there was the opportunity to play more and demonstrate my value. At Roma I couldn’t do it also because of my own fault. I had a great time there but I made the best choice in coming here.”

“For me, Fiorentina is an important test, I know I can still give a lot to football. The last two years have been difficult, a period in which I didn’t play much. Today I was able to demonstrate my value.”
