New Mexican national team boss Tata Martino paid a visit to Tigres on Thursday where he admitted he would be open to picking naturalised ‘foreigners’ for EL Tri.
The former Atlanta boss was in Monterrey to catch up with some of his national team players and also found time to have a brief chat with André-Pierre Gignac.

Having revealed he would be willing to call upon non-Mexican born players, the French goalscorer jokingly asked Martino if he was in contention for a place in his next squad.
Having played 36 times for Les Bleus, the chances look pretty slim.
