Francis Amuzu looks set to leave Anderlecht and join Nice, but manager Felice Mazzu is still hoping he can convince him to stay.
Amuzu has been linked with a number of clubs this year, with Nice, Nottingham Forest and Rangers all interested in signing him.
It now looks like the French club have won the battle for the 22-year-old winger’s signature, with reports emerging from France saying that an €8.5 million deal has been agreed with Anderlecht.
Nevertheless, the Belgian club’s manager still hopes to convince the Ghanaian to stay put.
“I want to convince Amuzu to stay,” Mazzu said after the Conference League match against Paide, in which Amuzu played 73 minutes.
“I gave him a breather at the end of the game, but as long as he is here and as dedicated as he is, he will play.”
