Indeed, he has bounced back from a period of low confidence, position changes, and a lack of good fortune, reaffirming his place as an undisputed starter in Ancelotti’s scheme – whether playing as a midfielder or in central defence.

Tchouameni arrived at this critical phase of the season amid significant doubts, yet he has stepped up. First, in the Copa del Rey clash against Leganes, where he played as a midfielder. Then, as a centre-back against Atletico Madrid, Manchester City, and Osasuna.
