Carlo Ancelotti continues to make history at Real Madrid.
After winning the FIFA Intercontinental Cup title against Pachuca, the Italian manager has now won 15 trophies with the club, making him the coach with the most titles in the 122-year history of the legendary club.
Ancelotti went past Miguel Munoz’s haul of 14 titles, which the current manager had leveled earlier this season when he led the Merengues to the UEFA Super Cup.
The 65-year-old spoke to RMTV in a candid interview, where he discussed his special achievement with Real Madrid.
“It is an honour and a pleasure to have been able to achieve this success,” said Ancelotti.
“I have to share it with the club, first because it gave me the opportunity to return, and second because it has allowed me to coach players of a very high technical level. That has been the key,” he added.

Talking about what it feels like working at a club like Real Madrid, Ancelotti explained:
“I consider myself fortunate to have the opportunity to coach again at the world’s greatest club. Winning titles is not so easy, but at Real Madrid, it is easier than at other teams.”
The year 2024 has been extremely successful one for Ancelotti and Real Madrid, with the team winning as many as five trophies starting off with the Spanish Super Cup in January to the Intercontinental Cup this month.
“The titles give us the confidence to continue dreaming, fighting, and competing in 2025,” said Ancelotti.
Continuing, he added: “We have come through 2024 well, despite all the problems we have faced, taking into account the serious injuries to Courtois, Militao, Carvajal, and Alaba.
“Hopefully, 2025 will help us in this regard with a bit more luck, allowing us to compete even more than we have this year.”
