Mario Martin could be present in Real Madrid’s pre-season tour

The captain of the Castilla team has proven to be coach Raul’s right-hand man, with his leadership qualities and understanding of the game.

And according to AS Martin’s skills and temperament are highly valued by Real Madrid’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

In fact, the midfield enforcer is likely to travel with the squad this summer for preseason training in the United States.

Martin is frequently likened to the former Real Madrid midfield player Casemiro due to his ability to intercept passes, win the ball, and act as a bridge between the defence and midfield.

Ancelotti, who appreciated such qualities in Casemiro previously, believes the highly-rated prospect can emulate the Brazilian’s role in the future.

A Madridista through and through

When he was younger, Mario Martin’s commitment to playing for Real Madrid saw him refuse offers from Villarreal and Atletico Madrid.

Martin makes lifestyle decisions that demonstrate his dedication to his work. He even constructed a gym within his home rather than purchasing a pricey vehicle.

Moreover, the 20-year-old prodigy would rather stay in the club’s facilities and adhere to rigid regimens and diets.

And now he aspires to break into the Real Madrid starting lineup. Still, even if Martin is unsuccessful, he will have many additional options, as he has already attracted interest from multiple teams in the first division.
