Carlo Ancelotti’s position at Real Madrid is facing increasing uncertainty, as recent reports suggest his future depends heavily on the team’s performance in the coming weeks.
Journalist Rodra (h/t Madrid Zone) reports that figures within the club are not ruling out the possibility of dismissing Ancelotti if Real Madrid’s form does not improve soon.
Currently, the team is struggling, with an alarming run of form, having conceded seven goals and only managed to score one across their last two matches.
This poor streak has set off alarms within the club, and the week of additional training Ancelotti recently had did little to address the team’s issues.
Despite earlier reports suggesting that the management remains composed, Rodra’s sources indicate that Ancelotti’s continuation is indeed a topic of serious discussion among Real Madrid’s leadership.
Ancelotti himself has acknowledged the criticism, understanding that when results falter, the manager bears much of the responsibility. He openly recognises the pressure he is under, especially as critical matches lie ahead.

At this point in the season, Ancelotti has yet to find the right combination or strategy for his squad. The team appears unbalanced, and several key areas seem to be faltering.
Defensively, Real Madrid have been vulnerable, leading to disappointing defeats. The midfield lacks the creativity and cohesion needed to control games, while the attack is not delivering the expected goals.
These collective struggles have put the manager in a difficult position, as each area of the team’s performance is falling short.
Initially, Real Madrid’s plan was to support Ancelotti through the season, with backing from the club’s higher authorities. However, the current results are starting to disrupt this approach, putting the Italian manager’s future in question.
Sources close to the club now suggest that if Real Madrid do not achieve positive outcomes soon, Ancelotti’s departure—once an unlikely scenario—may become a reality.
