Ancelotti confirms Courtois set to make Real Madrid comeback

Thibaut Courtois is in line to make his long-awaited comeback for Real Madrid next week.

The Belgium international has yet to feature for Carlo Ancelotti’s side this season after suffering a back-to-back knee injuries.

But Ancelotti confirmed on Thursday that the goalkeeper could to return to action for Cádiz’s visit to the Santiago Bernabéu on 4 May.

“Courtois will be available next week and could play against Cádiz,” said Los Blancos’ head coach.

“He’s doing well with his recovery”.

Madrid sit 11 points clear atop LaLiga and face a Champions League semi-final with Bayern Munich during their season run-in.
