Brazil midfielder Formiga has made World Cup history on Sunday.
Starting against Jamaica in Brazil’s opening game, she is appearing in her SEVENTH World Cup.

The new record sets her apart from any woman – or man – in football history.
When the 41-year-old made her World Cup debut, 150 players at this year’s tournament were not even born.
Formiga also becomes the oldest player to ever play at a Women’s World Cup, overtaking USWNT legend Christie Rampone by a year and two months.
