Amrabat: Milan test waters for Man Utd flop | OneFootball

Sofyan Amrabat will return to Fiorentina from Manchester United this summer and Milan have started to explore a move for the Moroccan.

The 27-year-old midfielder has not had a positive season in the Premier League. Amidst the chaos of the Red Devils, the Viola loanee has failed to show much of note as either a defensive midfielder or left back, becoming a figure of ire amongst supporters.

Amrabat will return to Florence but Fiorentina have no intention of keeping the midfielder, whose contract expires in June 2025, so they’ll immediately look to sell him on in the summer. His season at Manchester United has seen his stock fall dramatically since the heights of the 2022 World Cup.

The Rossoneri directors will study a possible deal over the coming weeks, which could see the 27-year-old leave Fiorentina for around €15-18m.
