Manchester United are finally back in action following the March international break, resuming their hectic schedule with a trip to face Premier League high-flyers Nottingham Forest.
The Red Devils lock horns with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side under the lights at the City Ground in an 8pm kick-off this evening, with the Forest boss currently sweating over whether Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs-White will be cleared to feature in the crunch evening clash.
Gibbs-White was forced off on the brink of Forest’s penalty shootout triumph over Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, while prolific talisman Wood sustained a setback on international duty with New Zealand.
As for Ruben Amorim’s options, he has been boosted by the return of defensive duo Leny Yoro and Harry Maguire, the former of which he hailed as a ‘special talent’ whom he was ‘excited to work with’. Presumably, the young Frenchman will be given the nod tonight.
The likes of Ayden Heaven, Kobbie Mainoo and Luke Shaw miss out – but will return before the end of the term. Mason Mount made the bench for the first time since December in the win over Leicester City, so will likely feature in some form.

Onana;
Andre Onana has been enduring another questionable run of form, so a stellar display against the Champions League-chasing Trees could instantly move him up in fans’ estimations.
Maguire, Yoro, De Ligt;
The two returnees are likely to join Matthijs de Ligt in the back three.
Mazraoui, Ugarte, Fernandes, Dorgu;
Patrick Dorgu is finally available for selection again after serving his red card suspension. He missed the FA Cup fifth-round defeat to Fulham, as well as league matches against Arsenal and Leicester City.
He was, however, able to continue as normal in Europe and has hugely impressed since his winter switch from Lecce.
Garnacho, Zirkzee, Hojlund
Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund both put an end to their tedious goalscoring droughts at the King Power Stadium, which should’ve given them the confidence boost they needed to now continue for the rest of the term.
