Manchester United progressed to the quarter-final stage of the Europa League after an impressive victory over Real Sociedad at Old Trafford last night.
The Red Devils played out a 1-1 draw against Sociedad in the first leg last week. They produced a better showing in the second leg to secure a convincing 4-1 win.
There were several standout performers last night.
Bruno Fernandes was exceptional as the leader with a fine hat-trick. Patrick Dorgu delivered a solid outing at left wing-back and won a crucial second-half penalty.
Ayden Heaven was also impressive on his first competitive start for the Red Devils in the back three.
The 18-year-old was a surprise signing from Arsenal in the last transfer window, and United quickly confirmed that he would be considered a first-team player.
The injury crisis has contributed to him being fast-tracked to first-team action. He had a superb outing in his full debut, winning all of his ground and aerial duels.
United have signed another gem from the Gunners after Chido Obi.
Heaven made just one Carabao Cup appearance at Arsenal under manager Mikel Arteta. He has already shown his potential at United.
