According to a report from L’Équipe, Amine Harit (27) is no longer part of Roberto De Zerbi’s plans. The Moroccan international is currently recovering from a lingering issue with his calf, but cannot guarantee that he will be given game time when he returns from his ailment.
Harit had been one of the surprises of the season in the first few weeks of the campaign. He was a player who completely embraced De Zerbi’s new philosophy and the reward was several performances that were defined by his creativity.
However, ever since he was sent off against Paris Saint-Germain in the 3-0 defeat back in October, he has not played a single minute for the club. Furthermore, Harit has only been included in two matchday squads since the defeat to their Parisian rivals.
It appears as if Marseille and De Zerbi are not willing to wait and reintegrate players who are falling below expectations. Lilian Brassier, Jonathan Rowe, and Ismaël Koné all arrived in the summer and have either been sent away or are in the process of finding a new club.
