Alonso Escoboza has joked that his inability to be without the ball has caused him to damage his personal belongings as he remains in quarantine through the suspension of Liga MX.
Posting on Twitter, the 27-year-old América left-footer quipped that he had “already broke everything”, but urged fans to stay at home in order to stop the spread of Covid-19.
“I already broke everything, if he will live with my parents or grandparents, they would have thrown me several flying flip-flops, what beautiful memories of when he was a boy, stay at home those who can, at this time we need many, to overcome this delicate moment #stayathome,” Escoboza wrote.
The player is currently on loan from Tijuana, and has impressed since joining the Azulcrema before the start of the Clausura.
