América are set to begin the season without the services of recent signings Néstor Araujo, Jurgen Damm or Jonathan Rodríguez in the starting XI.

According to TUDN, there is a chance the trio will be named among the substitutes for the Apertura opener at home to champions Atlas on Saturday.
