América are currently one of the best teams in Liga MX, current champions, and Copa MX finalists, and it’s been in large part thanks to Edson Álvarez.
The 21-year-old has already earned 20 caps for the national team and it appears he’s on the verge of a European move – but América will not let him go for cheap.

According to multiple sources from Mexico, América will demand at least 12 million dollars (€10.5m) for their star due to his age and potential.
América recently sold 18-year-old Diego Lainez to Real Betis for 14 million dollars and he has already proven to be a worthy player for the LaLiga side.
The fourth-placed Liga MX side will take on Xolos this Saturday, just five days after beating them 4-0 in the Copa MX semi-finals.
