Club América finished the regular season of the 2022 Apertura tournament as the leader of the table with 38 points and an unbeaten streak of 12 games.

Of those 12 matches unbeaten, the Eagles came out victorious in 11 of them and have asserted themselves as one of the best clubs in all of Mexico.

Despite América’s unbelievable work, they have been playing shorthanded, picking up several injuries along the way.

Now, they are set to receive a number of their players back for the Liguilla, as they now have a week and a half before they play their first playoff match.

Sebastián Cáceres, who was exhausted from the international break, will be available for selection.

Bruno Valdez and Luis Fuentes have each been dealing with their own physical issues and should be fully recovered before kickoff.
