Club América have received a double injury boost ahead of their Liga MX showdown with Atlas this weekend, as Jurguen Damm and Emilio Lara have both returned to training.

The pair have been on the shelf for the majority of the young campaign for the Eagles, and will be a welcome addition to the squad in the coming days.

A solid start to the Clausura campaign has seen América sit in third place, just five points behind league leaders Monterrey.

Should Damm and Lara feature for Fernando Ortiz’s side against Atlas on Saturday, they could give América the needed boost to collect a fourth straight victory.
