América 'reach total agreement' to sign Jonathan Rodríguez from Al-Nassr

Club América look to be adding another attacker to their squad in Al-Nassr’s Jonathan Rodríguez.

According to reports in Mexico, the 28-year-old forward is set to return to Liga MX after verbally agreeing on a transfer.

Additionally, his medical is set to take place later this week, and the contract is expected to be a three or four-year deal.

However, other reports claim MLS club Los Angeles FC also made an attempt to sign the Uruguayan.

Rodríguez previously played with Cruz Azul and Santos Laguna where he recorded a combined 87 goals and 20 assists in 213 appearances.

Recently while at Al-Nassr, Rodríguez registered one goal in nine appearances.
