With many of their players fulfilling their international duties at Gold Cup and Copa America, Club América have put out a weakened XI for their first pre-season match of the summer against Boca Juniors at the Colossus Cup.
Óscar Jiménez will start in goal in place of Agustín Marchesín, whose Argentina side were just eliminated in the Copa America semi-finals.
Rubén González will make his América debut next to Jesus Lopez in Miguel Herrera’s 4-2-3-1.
There were rumours that Jérémy Ménez would be given a rare chance to impress up top, however, Henry Martín gets the nod tonight.
Meanwhile, Carlos Tevez starts up top next to Ramón ‘Wanchope’ Ábila, while former Cruz Azul midfielder Ivan Marcone will line up in the middle of the park.
