América are said to be in advanced negotiations with MLS side DC United over winger Paul Arriola.
According to MLS writer Tom Bogert, the Eagles have made “multiple bids” for the American and, speaking to TUDN, Arriola confirmed there has been talk about a move.
“Yes, there is something, I don’t know if it’s a rumour or real, I can’t say much, but there is interest,” the 26-year-old told said.
Arriola spent four years in Liga MX with Tijuana before making the move to the MLS in 2017, but admitted he would be open to a return.
“The truth, as I told you before, is that the door is open,” said the USA international.
“If there is an opportunity to go and play with a club that loves me, that is going to support me, to keep growing, you have to listen to it.”
With América’s clash with Mazatlán rescheduled to February, the Azulcrema are in not in action again until they host Atlas next Saturday.
