América midfielder Richard Sánchez is reportedly attracting interest from European clubs.
The 25-year-old played no part in Saturday’s 1-0 friendly victory over Tigres in San Antonio, with Diego Reyes hitting a late winner at the Alamodome.
Sánchez is still on a break after his exploits with Paraguay at the Copa América.
But, according to ESPN’s John Sutcliffe, his return to the Azulcrema may be shortlived.
The journalist tweeted that it would be no surprise if was to leave Las Águilas in the near future.
América boss Santiago Solari would not want to see Sánchez depart, as he was a key figure in the side’s excellent Guard1anes 2021 campaign.
The former Olimpia man featured in 13 of América’s 17 regular season games, scoring twice and providing three assists.
